NEIL ROAKE
FOUNDER & CHEFNeil started Under the Sun because somewhere between the endless scrolling and the unanswered messages, the gay world misplaced its mojo — and he had a hunch it might be found on a sunny terrace in Spain. His prescription is deliciously low-tech: get men moving, get them around a table, get them under the sun. That, frankly, is what the gay doctor ordered.
Neil cooks relaxed, communal vegetarian feasts from his Castaway cookbook — Canary Island classics, Mediterranean plates, and the odd detour through India and Southeast Asia, all plant-forward and made for sharing. Adventurous by nature and very easy company, Neil will happily march you up a mountain at sunrise and have dinner waiting when you stagger back down.
HENRY MCMILLAN
Henry has been teaching yoga for over 15 years. After selling his Los Angeles studio in 2016, he moved to Amsterdam, where he built a thriving teaching schedule across the city and began hosting retreats internationally. He's known for playful, challenging, music-fuelled classes that balance intelligent sequencing with humour and heart - expect to laugh, sweat, and maybe discover muscles you didn't know you had.
With three Under the Sun retreats under his belt, Henry leads energising morning flows — think power and vinyasa with smart progressions — and slower evening practices that blend mobility, stretch, breathwork, and deep rest.
